On my bike, riding through a parking lot, one almost ran me over as I was making a turn, it tried to go around me.

In a rotary on my bike, one tried to go around me on the outside when I moved to go off the rotary onto another road it almost clipped me.

In both cases I was in the "right" (dead right maybe, but still right) according to traffic law and common sense.

In both cases they were going rather slowly on battery, and made absolutely no noticeable noise.

How can you not hear the noise a car makes on the pavement? They're far from

Subject: [MBZ] OT Can you hear my Pious now?
The gummint is going to require Pioi and other electron-powered vehicles
to make enough noise so you can hear it before it runs you over. Having
had close encounters of the second kind more than once I can relate.

never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.
Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the
