Anyone ever done the K1 piston spring replacement on their 722.3xx transmission? I noticed the 2-3 upshift on the 300D is kind of sloppy so I’ll be checking the vacuum side, but I noticed that Mercedes put out a modified or updated spring kit for the K1 that can be installed to address this, too.
My changeover valve levers are a bit worn, so I’ve already got those on order. I’ll be doing a transmission filter and fluid replacement soon, so that would be an ideal time to do the K1 springs as well.
