Update; my car is a 1987 300SDL, a 126, I also own a '84 300CD, thu
the confusion of my email name. The wires on the fan motor were
reversed on installation and that made the fan go in reverse. A simple
error and a very nice end to my frustration. Thanks for all the tips
and advise, and I was hoping for a simple answer.
