Dan. Not actual 126 info, though I had a 1989 300E 2.6 M103. Same thirst as a three liter but less power. Combined mileage was about 24 mpg until the FI went south.

As for the M103 in the W126 chassis, I'm looking for some actual numbers from someone that's owned one.
