Griots is the consumer level product for the home detailer. It is by no means
harsh enough to allow the user to screw up. Nice and safe, so the user feels
competent to keep his car clean. Lots of goo that does all manner of clean
enough. I do not think the stuff is at all professional grade, but keeps the
DIY car owner with a nice enough car happy. The folks with a really nice car
are prone to have a shop do the work and save themselves the time. Cost for
either is much the same, as the home user will spend about $250 for a selection
of products to do a full detail inside and out.

It is nice to go to their shop and have the techs show you how to properly use
the products. You get to have the stuff demonstrated on your car, so you can
easily part with cash to prettify your car.
