I know a few that are definitely safe (for me to identify)...shaggy manes and puffballs. And the wild Chanterelles that are on sale this week at my local produce store for $6.99/lb.
Other than that I prefer not to risk my life. I know some really smart people who came near death by eating the wrong stuff.
