Randy, Fred's '87 wagon (124.193) doesn't use vacuum for cruise control if
still in factory configuration. There is a hall-effect sensor in the
speedometer for the speed signal, an electronic computer / amplifier /
"brain" under the driver's dash, and a servo behind the IP that provides
the mechanical linkage to the IP throttle input to control engine speed.
Control stalk on the steering column, switch on the brake pedal to cut-off
when brakes are applied, and wires for the 'lectrons. Get out your digital
multi-meter, divide and conquer.
