I've long thought that 123 had marginal taillights... Curt

More lumens equals more visibility, right? Technically true, but... what are you _not_ seeing because you can no longer see/notice anything but that one car in front of you? Deer? Road hazards? Pedestrians? Children and/or pets? I have been behind a number of higher-end newer cars recently that seem to have gone overboard. Especially the ones that really like high-flux point-source LED emitters instead of a more diffuse, larger emitter of similar lumens. (Like a lensed 1157, for example.) Once you're above the threshold of noticing the light, more is NOT better. Point sources are NOT better. It's a real pet peeve of mine, the lighting arms race. It began with the HID headlights. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
