We watched "Rouge One" last night, then I finally finished a brass side plate
I've been making for a flintlock shotgun. I lost the original one in 1991...
After Buster and I get back from our walk (just working up the energy) I'll dig
out the turpentine, pine tar and linseed oil and set to finishing the stock.The
hardware is all still at my parent's house, its never been finished. I'm
planning to brown the barrel which is a pretty easy at home process compared to
bluing and will look better on a barrel thats suffered living in my parent's
basement for 25 years.
