My firearms typically get cleaned upon return from the range.  A rare instance 
when they don’t.  While it really wouldn’t make any difference for me as I 
would do it no matter what, the environment here is not conducive to leaving 
the leftovers from gunpowder on metallic objects for long.  Unless you want 
that “weathered” look, that is.
