One last comment (from me anyway) about tire sizes. The 124's require tires rated 91 H. Some tire models, like Bridgestone RE 950 at 196/65-15 are rated 88 H. So I selected the RE 950's in 205/60 to get that rating up to 89 or 90 H (I forget which one).
The attraction of many tires at 215/60-15 is their load rating is often 93 or 95. My limited personal data shows the higher load rating gives a long tire life. On the downside, the larger tires are heavier, giving your running gear more unsuspended weight. Ned Kleinhenz
