The problem with the '70s cars is that they were used up by the time I came around. My dad bought the Comet new and from a longevity standpoint it was a winner, I was replaced by the Vega when (literally) a door fell off. That would have been '82 or so, I was pretty young.
The Pinto was worn out by the time we got it, check the gas and fill the oil worn out. It was replaced by the Lynx which was garbage. The Vega was replaced with the Tempo which eventually became a decent car. It had some kind of failure that made it not run WHEN IT WAS NEW! For reasons I don't understand my dad fixed it rather than making the dealer take it back. It lasted 10 years anyway, I sold it for $200 after I graduated high school as I didn't want to put floors in it. -Curt On Thursday, April 26, 2018, 11:08:47 AM EDT, Dan Penoff via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: Careful, there.
