We just got a new fridge, 15cu ft unit, top freezer. Cost about $550, should use around $45/yr to operate. It was surprisingly hard to find a fridge that small. Seems most people want a monster fridge that costs 2-4x as much and uses 3-4x as much electricity.I also read that the US wastes some tremendous amount of food. I wonder if those two things go together? -Curt

Wind as singular source is insufficient. We can do with less of everything, so... couple less of everything in these analyses. New designs for all power needs can do a bunch to decrease our current use, maybe? Let's not run the present system in to the ditch seems nice, so let's continue to analyse and innovate. As you say, wind is *part* of the analysis but many other things need to play in to a *real* analysis. Also, what is the objective? More wind? More coal? More gov't funding? ... plus - Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. tin.man _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
