I think they all had a starter override. My 1975 Honda had a starter switch under the hood, you stuck a coin in it to turn it. The seat belt switch had already been bypassed before I owned the car, I only used the underhood switch to crank it over for valve adjustments and compression testing, for which it was very handy.
