I sincerely hope most of this is wrong and will soon dissolve into its own uncertainty. I was in the computer world in the early 80's and saw all the predictions and forecasts as to how computers would replace everything we know and "help us" to do everything. Artificial intelligence would be our savior. All of this has not made us a better society, but rather, has contributed to our social demise. Computers will never replace the human brain. Yes, they can be faster, but faster is not always better. This is only my opinion and views. But I hope we can save ourselves before computers destroy our future. Remember, the original intent of computers was to do repetitive tasks faster and with less error and to access information faster than humans. Personally, I don't think they will ever be able to "replace" the human brain or human memory.
