Good question-I have thought that German tune up is more appropriate, given the autobahns and the legendary speeds there.
Not at all, a German tune-up requires the ministrations of Dieter and an open wallet. ("Der blinkenhoffer ist out of spec. five nanohotzens, und sie need a new one...")
It has already been dubbed Italian Tune-Up in the early days of these forums. Ever been to Italy?
Early days everywhere. So-named because it's the only way to keep a temperamental high-strung beast (Ferrari, etc.) running well. -- Jim
