I thought I had determined that my1976 115 300D was new enough to lube the injection pump via the engine oil and did not need to look for a plug topour oil into the pump itself.
The big red plug with "OEL" on it is right on top of the IP, and is extremely obvious. If you have one, you need to use it. Otherwise not. -- Jim
