I think part of it is the gas prices. Every time the gas prices take a spike, used diesel prices on ebay go absolutely nuts. Then a few months later after the prices stabilize and the morons who bought those thing for too much and got them home and found out how much it was going to cost to have local joe get the thing up to snuff, you'll see alot of the same cars back up for sale.
