Most don't understand that the TRUE name of 'net zero' metering is just an accurate description of what you get from your expensive solar array when the grid is down. :-)
What doesn't seem to exist are the electronics to push back to the grid only when the grid's on, AND your storage batteries are full, and that will run your house from batteries while the grid is down.
