Yes but actually all ventilators have built in battery backup so no one pays much attention until the power actually fails and then they prioritize which machines most need the red outlets.
We had a weird thing on backup last year where the hospital is fed by three separate lines so getting them all shut off was an exercise no one had done recently and it took awhile to get the generators online. They upped the drill frequency after that.
