Photos are taken facing east so south is the right side of the photos.
The outer wall was leaning to the right.
The come-along is in the middle of the wall with chains to each end. Low end to the left and high end to the right. These are older photos so not current as if they were new, you would be able to see the chain and the come-along.

It took quite a bit of force to move it back to plumb but it may not take all that much to hold it there.

Longer diagonals end to end crossing in the middle may well be a better answer than my thoughts of using shorter ones and should be quite doable. I do have some concern about the aesthetics of it. Don't want to create some monstrosity that would deter potential buyers if we ever decide to sell.

Thanks for your insput.

I can't see the sun. Which way is south, and which wall is leaning?  Left end; Right end; Outer wall?

Where do you have the comealong run?

I had a similar porch in Ames, made of redwood 4x4s set on a slab on grade.  THe redwood was rotting.   I tore it down, and put an addition on.   (not a cheap or quick solution, but a great improvement.)

From What I can understand so far, I think your proposed fixes are good choices for the assumption that nothing can obstruct the screen windows

One other thought, assuming it is the outer end that has gone south: 2x10 blocking between the center of the joists, and along the end, and extra blocking where the side posts are.

If you can modify the assumption somewhat:  something like a 5/32 dia cable diagonal with sufficient attachment.   If you can straighten it with a comealong, there is not a lot of force needed to correct it and hold things in place.

Not really the issue. I don't know that it will settle any more and I don't think it is going to come back up either. The issue is keeping the walls fairly plumb when there is no sheathing on the walls without putting any diagonal bracing in the wall if I can help it.
