I sure hope this works out, could be an amazing deal. If he doesn't produce the title, may cost you another $90 or so to claim it as abandoned and get the title issued in your name. Takes some time, probably need a deputy sheriff to run the VIN, send a registered letter. That was how the tow yard had the title to my cabriolet.
OK on sorting the red ML, that will be a project for later on in spring now.
