I usually suggest that -20F is, for me anyway, the point at which cold really 
starts to hurt. Beyond that, as you say, it's pretty much all the same. I think 
-30f is as cold as I've ever experienced.

For those who have never experienced temperatures like this, understand that 
once it gets below about -20F you really can’t tell the difference. It’s just 
COLD.
