Any idea if sucking the oil out via dipstick is possible with other cars?  I need to change my Ford Explorer and don't enjoy getting down on the ground to do that.

Thoughts?

Yes, I tested on my 123, 124 & 126 and found that sucking the oil via
dipstick tube removed more than draining. 'Have not used it on the
211.

Depends on if you want to spend $80 up or $10. (allowing 2x
  inflation
  for Wilton's $5 oil extractor.)

I went in between, with a $10 fire SS Soda water extinguisher and a
  $10
  HF vacuum device.

For big bucks, the topsider is it.
