There is even a small airstrip on the property so people could fly in. Amazing place. I love that part of the coast. I did a bunch of work at a USAF radar site in the mountains outside of Atascadero. When I was there I drove down to the coast just for the views at any time of the day when I could. When there wasn’t coastal fog, you could see for hundreds of miles in all directions from the site, located at Black Mountain in the coastal range. Some days you could see well into the Sierras and out over the ocean, depending on which direction you turned.
