I thought very briefly about used, but needed them ASAP and figured used ones would be as bad as the springs I took out. I don't remember the cost, but it wasn't much - maybe $40 each? Non-sunroof springs are much cheaper than sunroof springs and this was in the halcyon days of 2002 when the dollar was strong and parts were cheap; 124s were still expensive and keeping a rusty old 123 on the road wasn't quite so quixotic.
