KLIMAs for different models ARE often different and most are NOT
interchangeable. I needed 3 different KLIMAs for the fleet of 6 201 and
124 cars I've owned (still have 3 spares I've bought as NONE of my
KLIMAs were ever bad). Most gasoline models are different than diesels
(although one from an '87 300E will work in my 300TD). My early 201s
were different than my later ones and cars with automatic and manual
transmissions MAY require different KLIMAs as well. Many part numbers
have been revised or superseded so you need a current parts catalog to
determine just which ones can be interchanged with which. Never played
with KLIMAs in 126s
