So at Okie Acres 1 aka rental house, a dude from Shitcago just built a house on the lot next door. I think I already talked about how he built his privacy fence at least 1-2 feet on my side. Since I have been over there all the time I observed he had an in ground pool and the whole area is built up probably a good 3-5 feet higher than our side. In other words I hate to see what happens when we get a lot of rain. Just on our side of the property line is a drainage swell that drains water toward the road from the back side of the peppery that comes down the hill from his side. It’s uphill that direction anyway before he built up his back yard. His fence is built right in the middle of this swell. Today I discovered he has a 500 gallon propane tank installed right up next to my fence. Per code it must be located at least 10 feet away from any building or property line.
I think tomorrow, or next time I see the guy, I’m going to point this out as well as the fence issue and kindly give him the opportunity to take care of it. If he does not then I will go ahead and call code enforcement on his ass.
