Lately I have seen several posts on various facebook groups from
idiots. 2 come to mind. First one was the other the day a guy had a
nice looking 350SDL. Wanted to know if anyone wanted to buy the engine
for $1k because he planed to drop a Cummins 4bt in it. OOOOKKKKKK. Next
one was a guy parting out a decent looking 140 diesel. The reason was
supposedly because the interior needed work. In other words, it
probably needed new seat covers.
Is everyone else crazy or am I? These are still somewhat rare and
desirable cars that are worth some decent amount of money, correct? Why
in the world would somebody part these out or do engine swaps like the
stupid Cummins deal?
