Greg Fiorentino recommended Lenovo Thinkpads years ago. I bought several, and they are great machines. They are ancient, but still do quite well. The T410 I have is several generations old, but still supports Windows 10 (and Linux) very well. His last recommendation when I asked a while back was a ThinkPad W530.
