I would take the extra oil out.  If the crank hits the oil it will  aerate it 
just like cream turns to whipped cream.  Except air is not a good  lubricant 
and will not have the film strength to keep the crank and bearings  separated. 
 If you don't have a mitivac or oil removal unit, you can just  shove a long 
piece of hose down the dipstick tube, put your thumb over the end  and pull it 
back out.  
Depending on the size and length of the hose, it will take a few  cycles.  A 
little messy but better in your driveway than having your engine  burp a big 
puddle of oil on the road.
