Someone came and measured up my house for all the metal roofing and it
showed up in various crates of pieces the right lengths. If I recall
they cut all the angles on site.
I did a shed roof with a friend, we gave the outfit the dimensions of
the roof and they rolled and cut the pieces, guy dropped them off and we
put them up. It went quick getting the edges and main parts down, the
peak cap took awhile to get fitted but it was straightforward. The roof
was 1 in 4 so easy to walk on and wasn't too high either but we didn't
fall off!

Buying it as flat coil steel and forming it onsite must be a lot
cheaper, but they have an equipment investment to pay for.
