Oh, dear, here we go again ;-)....

My idle jumps up (estimating, dead tach) about 150-200 rpms in neutral, more
so when the engine is fully warmed up.

I always thought that was just normal. My w116 SD did it too, IRRC, can't
remember what my ex-Kaleb SD did.
