I know this is kinda dated, but I've been out of town for a few weeks.
I'd be much more concerned about the state of the climate control than I would about the wiring harness. Changing an engine wiring harness is relatively painless (and cheap) compared to pulling the entire interior to preplace a leaking evaporator! Seriously, replacing the engine wiring harness is not that difficult a DIY job. If I routinely traveled in lower altitudes, I'd go with the '95 over the turbo.
