If the AC is running at some point in the day and humidity under control, I can sleep fine at 72. Weekdays, with time of use billing (they jack the rate up 50% from 2-7p weekdays, and I assume that means Independence Day too) I run it at 68 from 6-8am, which dehumidifies like crazy, then 72 until 2pm (rarely turns on), 80 until 7pm (never turns on), and 72 until 6am. Lately it's been running more than an hour in the evening, less than an hour in the early morning, and that's all. Hottest it's gotten by 7pm has been 76 this year. The dehumidifier in the basement uses way more electricity than the 1.5T heat pump.
