I have a cheapo horror fright one too and it’s fine for MIG but for TIG you really need to see the weld pool and the tungsten electrode distance from the puddle. You need a good helmet. Kari got me the optrel panoramaxx (which is the Mercedes of welding helmets) last Christmas.
