When I lived in WI there was a GM stealership in MKE that dealt heavily in fleet and “work” trucks. I went there to buy my Suburban, as I wanted a very basic one - radio/heat/AC and that was about it. Everything at my local dealers was pimped up for the WI station wagon crowd.
I got a good deal on one that was pretty basic - no carpets, rubber mats - but that was fine with me.
