Fer sure - I think the 2020 census had a population of about 2,000. The whole 
county is probably 3,000, if that. However, once you get outside of Manistique, 
there is nothing. Literally. Hunting lodges and summer vacation cabins.

I’ve been there and the UP in general is pretty much like northern Maine. Whole 
lotta nothin.
