Here in Flagstaff, which is sort of a stopping point for travelers on I-40
between Albuquerque and Vegas or LA, the only public chargers I ever see are
the ones at the local Walmart. I think there are four of them but I rarely see
them being used. I do know they have some sort of credit card POS terminal on
them, so I have to believe you're paying for the privilege.

I could justify an EV for just running around town, which I would expect would
be charged at home. I can drive across Flagstaff in under 20 minutes, so unless
we wanted to dash down to PHX and see AZ Bob (not this time of year, sorry
Bob!) long trips just wouldn't be necessary. And I would keep at least one of
the MLs for long drives. Of course, driving to PHX wouldn't be bad because it's
mostly downhill. The return trip might not be as pleasant, however.

And after 5 minutes refueling, wash, rinse, and repeat. Indefinitely.
