I think it takes special people to work with the handicapped. I am not sure that I would have the patience. At one time, I thought I wanted to be a teacher but I think in retrospect, it was probably a good thing that I did not follow through.

My sister teaches high school aged special needs kids. She was chosen by her peers as Teacher of the Year in her district and with that came offers of bigger and better things within the district. She declined them all to stay with her kids. Most special needs teachers are a special breed. You must have a good girl there, Rusty.
