Allan, Has your employer issued guidelines, or denied the ability to use AI? This is a good question for everyone who is currently employed.
We researched this heavily last year in order to draft a policy for AI. Essentially, unless it’s a sanctioned “closed” AI system like Microsoft’s, you can’t use it. Not only that, the example about the pizza is a excellent way to show how “bad” AI can be sometimes. Also, think about this: If you’re using AI with your employer, and you put somehting in that protected/proprietary/private, it’s going to be there for anyone else to tease it out, or just find it organically while they’re using the AI system. Nope. Just like DNA testing. Once they got it, you can’t take it back, and you can’t prevent it from being shared. -D > On May 24, 2024, at 2:43 PM, Allan Streib via Mercedes > <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > > I haven't quite figured out what the point of AI is.
