I’ve been a wagon guy for as long as I can recall. I just like the utility of a wagon, yet it’s still a car for all intents and purposes.
That said, I really like the ML550 for it’s utility aspects as well, but it’s also very car-like, unlike the W163. I drove it over 2,000 miles fully loaded and pulling a car trailer and it was a comfortable, easy drive for the most part. What I don’t like about it? The size and difficulty in getting in and out. It’s pretty far off the ground, so it’s a big step for people who are height-challenged or infirm. I have always wanted a nice W211 wagon, but they’re hard to find, often thrashed and overpriced. I don’t fcare about AMG or performance stuff, I would be perfectly happy with a bone-stock W211 wagon. -D > On Jun 29, 2024, at 10:13 AM, Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes > <[email protected]> wrote: > > My daughter hauls the dogs and farm stuff in her E350 wagon, she likes it a > lot better than a ML because it is lower and easier to deal with.
