yes, I saw that picture, if I can dig it up I will post it. But its only logical the cummins would have bigger rods, the displacement is spread out over 6 cylinders where the others its spread out over 8, so they wouldnt have to be as heavy because you have more of them.

It's because thrown rods on a Cummins are rare, which would make
sense if you've ever seen one of the things.  There's a picture
floating about of the big three's rods sitting next to each other
that's pretty interesting.  I've heard of blown head gaskets most
often.  And you _can_ fry a piston.
