Most fixed antennas are made to clamp to the hole in the fender. The one for my Cabriolet uses a serrated piece underneath and a nut and trim ring on top to hold it in place. Don't see any reason the same thing wouldn't work on a Benz. It'd be a heck of a lot easier to install in the trunk of the Benz than it was in the front fender of the Cabby. :)
