Isn't there a terminal block in the bottom of the fuse box (under the fuse
mounting plate and the wiring harnesses) that feeds the GP relay? Much less
trivial... but equally effective. Less trivial and also effective would be to
... modify the vacuum harness so that the shutoff always got vacuum....

My favorite for a Jeep is to remove the "ballast resistor" on the inside of the
driver's fender. It's really for the fuel pump--when starting the pump gets
full B+, but when running it feeds through that resistor. Without that resistor
it will catch and then quickly die as the fuel pressure goes to 0.

Hey maybe we should have an "evil ways to temporarily disable the car"
contest?... One of my favorite factory ones is the BMW 540's have a function in
the OBC/trip computer that lets you configure it to require a code in addition
to the key before it will start....

We have replaced all bushings, ball joints, shocks, mounts, tie rod ends,
strut rod mounts, etc. but there is still a horrible creak going over speed
bumps (more so when the weather is cold). 1985 300CD, otherwise
mechanically perfect.
