As luck would have it, I didn't think I had enough Hylomar, so did use the High temp RTV. Now to get the alignment close enough to drive it to the shop ----

You must use a sealant, the factory does. Some sort of high temp resistant RTC, the black stuff, is what you want. Glad you managed to get it repaired! Peter
