USA got the 2.3E and 2.2D in '84 and '85. D was replaced with the 2.5 in '86, the 16v was available in '86-87. All of our 16v had power leather seats, airbag, sunroof, and ABS. Not sure when the 2.6 became an option, but MBUSA continued to sell 2.3 and 2.6 through '93. I believe '89 was the last yeay of the diesel here. Mitch.
