I only wish you could still get a cell phone that was just a phone.
No cameras, email, web browser, etc.  All needless complexity.

Get an Apple MacBook.  Probably the small one (13") if weight /
portability is a big factor.  They used to make an even smaller one
(12"); those have the G4 processor, not Intel and you'd have to get it
used or refurb if you wanted that size.
