You *know* the answer - they have to find a reason to get users of Office
95, O97, O'00, etc to spend $100, $200 or nore to upgrade. The only reason
to upgrade anymore is features now that the programs are pretty seamless and
operate easily.

I still have Office '97 Pro which comes with Access (the db program) for
work, and although I've upgraded Word to 03 I could have leaved easily with
97 - but got a upgrade with a new computer. Unfortunately, they no longer
support O97. But I seldom need help - usually when the program generates
some obscure error mesg.

Personally, I have trouble thinking of *anything* they could do that would
make me want to spend almost $200 for a new suite.

Anyway, I have Open Office as well as Office 97 and because of the features
and my familiarity I use O97 more than anything.

Just like cars, they have to pretty the programs up so people will want to
upgrade --
