You *know* the answer - they have to find a reason to get users of Office 95, O97, O'00, etc to spend $100, $200 or nore to upgrade. The only reason to upgrade anymore is features now that the programs are pretty seamless and operate easily. I still have Office '97 Pro which comes with Access (the db program) for work, and although I've upgraded Word to 03 I could have leaved easily with 97 - but got a upgrade with a new computer. Unfortunately, they no longer support O97. But I seldom need help - usually when the program generates some obscure error mesg. Personally, I have trouble thinking of *anything* they could do that would make me want to spend almost $200 for a new suite. Anyway, I have Open Office as well as Office 97 and because of the features and my familiarity I use O97 more than anything. Just like cars, they have to pretty the programs up so people will want to upgrade -- Larry T (67 MGB, 74 911, 78 240D, 91 300D) www.youroil.net for Oil Analysis and Weber Parts Test Results http://members.rennlist.com/oil PORSCHE POSTERS! youroil.net Weber Carb Info http://members.rennlist.com/webercarbs Porsche Road Test http://members.rennlist.com/roadtest/ . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig McCluskey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Mercedes Discussion List" <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Sent: Friday, June 29, 2007 4:27 PM Subject: Re: [MBZ] tonight on fox soccer NOW Windows Vista installation > On Fri, 29 Jun 2007 16:07:06 -0400 Peter T.
