I'm assuming it's on the inside? If so then this is a symptom of one of
two issues. One is a slow leak in the heater core and the other is a
plugged drain line, allowing condensate to pool inside the unit.

If its on the outside then it's just moisture condensing on the outside
of your cold glass.

Subject: [MBZ] windshield misting over after A/C shutdown ('85 300D)
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
hi all!

i've got a curious symptom that i'm hoping someone can point me to
the cause of:
lately, anytime i shut off the A/C after using it while driving,
moisture vapor becoming condensation blowing onto the windshield becomes

bad enough as to impede visibility. any ideas as to what this is a
symptom of, and/or what i might look for?

cheers!
